About Salutations

We opened our first beloved Nathan&Co shop back in 2006. Over the years, we have become an Oakland go-to destination for gifts (to give or to keep) with two locations. Customers come from near and far to browse our mercantile of special, hand-picked items. One of the most popular areas of our shops is our card area. We’re known for fun, unusual, in-the-moment cards from indie designers all over the United States. We seek out the small, independent designers. And if those designers are using letterpress, we’re all over it!

Our greeting card business has grown over years – so much so – we decided to launch Salutations. We find that when you’re a believer in great cards – you don’t need music in the background or delicious fragrances in the air from candles – you want to focus on finding just the right card.
